Handoff a clean order file
Clean 68 fictional order records, account for conflicting keys and invalid dates, and deliver a checked CSV with a review note.

The request
A sales colleague has sent repeated imports with inconsistent order details. Prepare a file the reporting team can use. Keep a record of what you exclude, rather than quietly choosing one conflicting amount.
Work through it
- Read the input and the business-key policy. Exact repeated records count once; a conflicting key is excluded completely.
- Validate the declared date format, normalize names and apply only the stated region default. Keep real zero amounts.
- Check the complete output, then download its CSV and handoff report. Explain excluded records in the checklist.
Check before you hand it over
- Keep first per key is useful in the introductory exercise, but it is insufficient for this project's conflicting records.
- Do not guess an ambiguous date or replace a valid zero with a missing value.
- Matching the total alone cannot prove that every order is correct.

Read the output requirements
- Return order_id, date, region, name, amount in that order, sorted by numeric order_id. Amounts are integer whole dollars.
- For each order_id, collapse byte-for-byte identical records to one. If any source field disagrees within an ID, exclude every record for that ID; never choose a maximum amount.
- Accept only real calendar dates written YYYY/MM/DD. Exclude ambiguous or impossible dates. Convert accepted dates to YYYY-MM-DD.
- An empty region becomes Unknown. Trim outer spaces and collapse repeated spaces in names. Preserve numeric zero amounts.
